About Dr. Redd

Dr. Redd attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis. He completed his surgical residency at Carrarway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alambama. He has been in the practice of general surgery for 15 years and has developed a special interest in hernia repairs for the last 5 years. He is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, American Hernia Society, and a fellow in The American College of Surgeons. He has performed several thousand hernia operations.

Dr. Redd also teaches high school and coaches wrestling. He is married and has 2 daughters in college.
